Tax Increment Financing (TIF) for Cannon Ball Apartments
In 2021 the city council approved a 26-year Tax-Free Tax Increment Financing (TIF). The citizens of Cannon Falls should be appalled by this unprecedented agreement. As a council member I want to stop this from reoccuring.
Public Input: A Voice for the People
We should increase the time frame for the public to address the council. The total time for all resident's who show's up is capped at 30 minutes. The people deserve more time to share their thoughts and concerns.
Cannon Valley Fair
I've helped end the feud between the City and the Fairgrounds where both parties are happy. I want the fair to be able to host events as they have for over the last 100 years.
City-Wide Zoning Updates
It’s time to modernize our city zoning regulations. Frequent special meetings to grant exceptions indicate that our current rules are outdated. Let’s streamline zoning to better serve the future needs of Cannon Falls, making sure we’re prepared for growth and development.

As someone who has lived in Cannon Falls for most of my life, I deeply care about our community. My wife and I returned in 2020 after living briefly in Crystal, Minnesota, because Cannon Falls is an incredible place to raise our children and stay close to family. I work as an SQL developer for a law firm in Golden Valley, a career I’ve enjoyed for over a decade.
